90-degree – This is where your knees and elbows stay in a relaxed 90-degree posture. This is a great option, but it can fatigue your back over time.

Forward tilt – This can be done when you raise the height of your chair and tilt it downward about eight degrees.

Reclining – This can be achieved when you lean into your backrest 10 to 20 degrees and place your feet in front of you.


Change positions frequently.


No one should sit still for an extended amount of time, it’s just not healthy. Instead, make small movements or posture adjustments every fifteen minutes, and take movement breaks and get up and walk.


Additional things to consider include:


Keep your head level and have your work straight in front of you.

Keep your elbows bent and at 90 degrees and close to your body.

Use your chair rest to support your back.

Keep your knees in line with your hips and at the same level.

Place your feet a bit in front of your knees supported by the floor or a footrest.
